The J = 1.5 – 0.5 line of singly ionized atomic carbon has been measured by laser magnetic resonance by
(1) A. L. Cooksy, G. A. Blake, and R. J. Saykally, 1986, Astrophys. J. 305, L89. Only the position of the strongest hfs structure component was measured with confidence; positions of the remaining components were estimated from ab initio calculationsmentioned in (1). All positions should be viewed with some caution.
The total intensity was assumed to agree with that of the main species, see e012503.cat.
July 2012: The relative intensities in (1) have been corrected according to appropriate 6j-symbols. Date and version number have been retained. V. Ossenkopf, D. Neufeld, as well as other members of the Herschel-WADI team are thanked.
