The line list was extended by data from two additional sources with respect to the first entry from Oct. 2001. The experimental lines were taken from
(1) M. Rodler, 1985, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 114 23;
and from
(2) M. Melosso, B. A. McGuire, F. Tamassia, C. Degli Esposti, L. Dore, 2019, ACS Earth Space Chem. 3, 1189.
Also used in the fit were data pertaining to the v15 = 1 - 0 band from
(3) H. Bunn, R. M. Soliday, I. Sumner, and P. L. Raston, 2017, Astrophys. J. 847, Art. No. 67.
Intensity measurements suggest the anti form of vinyl alcohol to be higher than the syn form by 380 ± 50 cm–1 recent quantum chemical calculations indicate a values in the same range.
Please note that, should the molecule occur inh the ISM, it is not expected to do so under LTE conditions. Therefore, the two species were treated separately. The partition function is restricted to the ground vibrational state.
The present spectroscopic parameter differ somewhat from those in (2). The calculated spectrum should be sufficient for all astronomical observations. Caution is advised for frequencies with calculated uncertainties exceeding 0.2 MHz.
The dipole moment was taken from (1).
