The energy levels of atomic iron have been
determined with high accuracy from extensive
mid-IR, visible, and UV measurements
in
(1) G. Nave, S. Johansson, R. C. M. Learner,
A. P. Thorne, and J. W. Brault,
1994, Astrophys. J. Suppl. Ser. 94, 221.
The two lowest energy, highest frequency transitions
were derived from these data.
The frequencies of the two highest energy, lowest
frequency components were determined by laser
magnetic resonance in
(2) J. M. Brown and K. M. Evenson,
1995, Astrophys. J. 441, L97.
The Einstein A values were taken from (2).
