The experimental data were taken from
(1) C. T. Scurlock, D. A. Fletcher, and T. C. Steimle, 1993, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 159, 350;
and from
(2) L. M. Ziurys, W. L. Barclay Jr., and M. A. Anderson, 1992, Astrophys. J. 384, L63.
1H hyperfine splitting may be resolved at lower frequencies. Therefore, a separate prediction with 1H hyperfine splitting and J" ≤ 4 is available together with appropriate partition function values.
Predictions should be sufficiently accurate for radio astronomical observations throughout; some caution is advised for transitions beyond 650 GHz.
The dipole was determined by
T. C. Steimle, D. A. Fletcher, K. Y. Jung, and C. T. Scurlock, 1992, J. Chem. Phys. 96, 2556.
