The experimental millimeter and lower submillimeter lines are from
(1) M. C. McCarthy, J. M. Vrtilek, E. W. Gottlieb, F.-M. Tao, C. A. Gottlieb, and P. Thaddeus, 1994, Astrophys. J. 431, L127.
Additional lower frequency data with hyperfine structure splitting were taken from
(2) Y. Hirahara, Y. Ohshima, and Y. Endo, 1994, J. Chem. Phys. 101, 7342.
The unpublished transition frequencies from (1) were kindly provided by M. C. McCarthy.
The prediction should be reliable throughout. Caution is advised for predictions higher than 400 GHz. Greater caution is advised for the hyperfine splitting in the higher 2Π3/2 component.
The 1H hyperfine splitting may be resolved for lower J transitions. Therefore, a separate hyperfine calculation up to J' = 9.5 is provided. The 1H spin multiplicity of 2 was considered in the calculation of the partition function !
The dipole moment is from an ab initio calculation in (1). The value changes considerably with the level of calculation and should thus be taken cautiously.
