The HC6O radical is a linear molecule. Transitions with small quantum numbers were reported by
(1) S. Mohamed, M. C. McCarthy, A. L. Cooksy, C. Hinton, and P. Thaddeus, 2005, J. Chem. Phys. 123, Art. No. 234301.
Some spectroscopic parameters were evaluated from values of C6H.
The predictions of the lower 2Π3/2 spin component should be sufficiently accurate for the detection of the molecule in the cold ISM; caution is advised for predicted frequencies above 130 GHz. Predictions of the higher 2Π1/2 spin component should be viewed with great caution throughout.
An ab initio dipole moment was taken from (1). The value should be viewed with some caution.
