ALMA was used at 1.3 mm to study the N 113 hot core region of the LMC. One line of dimethyl ether near 231.99 GHz was detected with reasonable signal-to-noise ratio toward the A1 and B3 peaks. The derived column densities are about a factor of 8 and 4, respectively, lower than those of methanol.\\
