Astrophys.// **628**, Art. No. A10 (2019).\\ A total of 18 rotational transitions of the lower energy //Z//-conformer of iminopropyne, also known as propargylamine, were detected in the course of an unbiased molecular line survey of the quiescent giant molecular cloud G+0.693−0.027, about 1' north-east of Sagittarius B2(N), with the IRAM 30 m dish at 3 and 2 mm. Several lines, however, are severely blended, but about one third are not or only somewhat blended. The inferred rotational temperature of 8 K is a value typical for dark clouds. It explains the non-detection of the slightly higher lying //E//-conformer. The column density is about a factor of 4 lower than vinyl cyanide, a tautomer of iminopropyne. ---- Contributor(s): H. S.
