B. Tercero, J. Cernicharo, S. Cuadrado, P. de Vicente, and M. Guélin
used the Yebes 40 m telescopy in the 7 mm wavelength region (rest frequencies: 58.7 − 93.5 GHz) to study the molecular content of a foreground galaxy at z = 0.89 in absorption toward the quasar PKS 1830-211:

The propynylidynium cation, l-C3H+, was identfied by three rotational transitions with good to reasonable signal-to-noise ratios and with J = 2 − 1 to 4 − 3.
