On Amidogen, NH2, in Extragalactic Sources

Amidogen was detected with ALMA within cycle 0 observations in the unnamed foreground galaxy at z ≈ 0.89 toward the blazar PKS 1830–211 by

An ALMA Early Science survey of molecular absorption lines toward PKS 1830–211 – Analysis of the absorption profiles

The strongest J = 1.5 – 1.5 and the weaker 1.5 – 0.5 fine structure components of the 110 – 101 transition of para-amidogen at 462446.5 and around 461440 MHz were detected in absorption, the latter with partially resolved 14N hyperfine splitting.
