Interstellar Detection of the Simplest Aminocarbyne H2NC: An ignored but Abundant Molecule
Astron. Astrophys. 654, Art. No. A45 (2021).
The aminomethylidyne isomer was observed in the course of molecular line surveys of L483 and B1-b protostellar objects carried out at 3 mm using the IRAM 30 m telescope. The molecule was not detected in corresponding data of the prestellar core TMC-1. The column densities of H2CN and H2NC were essentially the same in the first two sources.

H2CN/H2NC Abundance Ratio: A New Potential Temperature Tracer for the Interstellar Medium
Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 523, 3239–3250 (2023).
The authors detect two transitions toward this kinetically warmer source and concomitantly a H2CN/H2NC ratio of about 2, different from ~1 in the kinetically colder sources L483 and B1-b.
