First Interstellar Detection of Methyl Carbamate: A New Observational Anchor for Glycine Chemistry
Astrophys. J. Lett. 1004, Art. No. L6 (2026).
Employing archival ALMA Band 7 data near of G358.93−0.03 MM1 near 300 GHz, the authors identified 10 unblended or slightly blended lines. A rotational temperature of ~200 K was derived. The molecule is about a factor of 8 more abundant than the tentatively identified glycolamide.
