More sulphur in TMC-1: Discovery of the NC3S and HC3S radicals with the QUIJOTE line survey
Astron. Astrophys. 688, Art. No. L13 (2024).
NC3S in it 2π3/2 lower spin ladder was detected through five consecutive transitions with 23/2 ≤ J' ≤ 33/2 between 33.0 and 47.5 GHz in the course of a molecular line survey of the prototypical cold dark molecular cloud TMC-1 carried out with the Yebes 40 m radio telescope. The first two lines display somewhat and barely resolved 14N hyperfine structure splitting, respectively. The next two lines are somewhat broadened, and the last line is blended. Members with n = 2 and n ≥ 4 were not detected. The abundance ratios of NCS/NC3S is about 5.6.
