reported on the
Discovery of 1H-Cyclopent[cd]indene (c-C11H8) in TMC-1 with the QUIJOTE Line Survey: A new Three-Ringed Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon
Astron. Astrophys. 706, Art. No. L10 (2026).
The molecule was identified through 22 lines, each consisting of an oblated paired of four a- and b-type transitions with 15 ≤ J ≤ 24 and J − 5 ≤ KcJ. The rotational temperature was assumed as 9 K. The derived column density is about a factor of 2.7 lower than that of indene and about a factor of 4.7 lower than that of phenalene.
