used the Yebes 40 m telescopy in the 7 mm wavelength region (rest frequencies: 58.7 − 93.5 GHz) to study the molecular content of a foreground galaxy at z = 0.89 in absorption toward the quasar PKS 1830-211:

Methanethiol, CH3SH, also known as methyl mercaptan, was identfied by three lines of four rotational transitions with J = 3 − 2 and K = 0 or 1. The lines show good to fairly reasonable signal-to-noise ratios.
