used the Yebes 40 m telescopy in the 7 mm wavelength region (rest frequencies: 58.7 − 93.5 GHz) to study the molecular content of a foreground galaxy at z = 0.89 in absorption toward the quasar PKS 1830-211:

Formic acid, HCOOH was identfied by five rotational transitions with J = 4 − 3 or 3 − 2 and Ka = 0 or 1. The lines show good (three) to fairly reasonable signal-to-noise ratios.
