reported on the
Rotational Spectroscopy, Tentative Interstellar Detection, and Chemical Modelling of N-Methylformamide
Astron. Astrophys. 601, Art. No. A48 (2017).
The basis of the observations was the unbiased molecular line survey Exploring Molecular Complexity with ALMA (EMoCA) in the 3 mm region (84.1–114.4 GHz) carried out in Cycles 0 and 1. A reasonable rotational temperature and column density were derived. Twelve lines are given in the appendix of which about half suffer little blending and the others slightly more. The number of lines is somewhat small to claim a definitive detection, but large enough for a tentative one, especially in light of the astronomical model and the astrochemical model calculations.
