The Detection of Hot Cores and Complex Organic Molecules in the Large Magellanic Cloud
Astrophys. J. Lett. 853, (2018) Art. No. L19.
ALMA was used at 1.3 mm to study the N 113 hot core region of the LMC. One line of dimethyl ether near 231.99 GHz was detected with reasonable signal-to-noise ratio toward the A1 and B3 peaks. The derived column densities are about a factor of 8 and 4, respectively, lower than those of methanol.
