Zeng, A. Megías, Á. López-Gallifa, A.Martínez-Henares, D. San Andrés, S. Martín, M. A. Requena-Torres, J. G. de la Concepción, and V. Lattanzi\\ reported on\\ **[[https://doi.org/10.1038/s41550-025-02749-7|A Detection of Sulfur-Bearing Cyclic Hydrocarbons in Space]]**\\ //Nat. Astron.// **10**, 401 (2026).\\ 2,5-Cyclohexadienthione was detected in the course of a molecular line survey of the Galactic Center molecular cloud G+0.693–0.027 employing the Yebes 40 m telecope. The //a//-type transitions cover 31 to 49 GHz with 10 ≤ //J// ≤ 19 and //Ka// ≤ 7. Some lines are unblended, slightly blended, or the peak of the line is at most slightly blended. //T//rot ≈ 12.5 K was derived from a rotation diagram. 2,4-Cyclohexadienthione was not detected, its abundance is at least a factor of 2 lower than 2,5-cyclohexadienthione.\\ \\ ---- Contributor(s): H.
