+The molecule was detected in the course of a molecular line survey of the Galactic Center molecular cloud G+0.693–0.027 employing the Yebes 40 m and IRAM 30 m radio telecopes. Many lines were covered, bu most are heavily blended or have poor signal-to-noise ratio. However, a sufficient number is not or not too severely blended. The rotational temerature //T//<sub>rot</sub> was determind as ~11 K. The column density is about the same as the one of glycolaldehyde and about half that of ethylene glycol.\\
