The abundance ratio of HC<sub>5</sub>N to HC<sub>5</sub>NH<sup>+</sup> is ~500very similar to that of HC<sub>3</sub>N to HC<sub>3</sub>NH<sup>+</sup>, which can be seen as additional support for the identification.
