This is an old revision of the document!

The detection of etheneimine, aka ketenimine, in Sgr B2(N-LMH) has been reported very recently:
F. J. Lovas, J. M. Hollis, A. R. Remijan,and P. R. Jewell,
Detection of Ketenimime (CH2CNH) in SGRB2(N) Hot Cores
Astrophys. J. 645, L137–L140 (2006).
Only three lines have been detected thus far of which one line may show partially resolved hyperfine structure. Therefore, the detection should be viewed with caution at the moment. Fortunately, the derived column density of about 1.5 ×1016 cm–1 with an uncertainty of a factor of 2 and the comparatively high single state temperature of 65 K should permit lines in the millimeter wave region to be detected fairly readily.
