The strongest J = 1.5 – 1.5 and the weaker 1.5 – 0.5 fine structure components of the 1₁₀ – 1₀₁ transition of para-amidogen at 462446.5 and around 461440 MHz were detected in absorption, the latter with partially resolved ¹⁴N hyperfine splitting.
