described the
Space and laboratory discovery of iminopentadienylidene, HNC5
Astron. Astrophys. 688, Art. No. L29 (2024).
The molecule was detected in the course of the QUIJOTE line survey of the dark cloud TMC-1 with the Yebes 40 m dish through six rotational transitions between 32.6 and 46.3 GHz having 11 ≤ J ≤ 17 with good to reasonable signal-to-noise ratios. A rotational tempertaure of 6.0 ± 0.5K was derived. The column density ratios are about 45 : 1 for HNC3 : HNC5 and about 5100 : 10 : 1 for HC5N : HC4NC : HNC5.
