The Detection of Sulfanyl, SH, in the Interstellar Medium
The J = 5/2 – 3/2 transition of the lower energy fine structure component 2Π3/2 of the sulfanyl radical SH has been detected in absorption in the diffuse medium along the sight-line to the submillimeter continuum source W49N by

Discovery of Interstellar Mercapto Radicals (SH) with the GREAT Instrument on SOFIA
Astron. Astrophys. 542, (2012), Art. No. L6.
Two lines were observed near 1382.91 and 1383.24 GHz because of the Λ-doubling. The inferred column density is very similar to that of SH+ in that source, differing by less than a factor of two.

The same transitions of SH as above were observed toward W31C, G29.96-0.02, G34.3+0.1, W51, and W49N again.
