reported on the
First detection of C2H5NCO in the ISM and search of other isocyanates towards the G+0.693−0.027 molecular cloud
Astron. Astrophys. 654 (2021), Art. No. L1.
8 rotational transitions of C2H5NCO, all but one a-types, with 5 ≤ J ≤ 8 and Ka ≤ 2 were covered in the course of an unbiased molecular line survey of the quiescent giant molecular cloud G+0.693−0.027, about 1' north-east of Sagittarius B2(N), carried out with the Yebes 40 m dish at 7 mm. Five transitions are unblended or only slightly blended. The lines were modeled quite well employing an LTE fit with Trot = 10 ± 2 K. The column density ratio of methyl to ethyl isocyanate was estimated to be about 8.
