The Detection of Hot Cores and Complex Organic Molecules in the Large Magellanic Cloud
Astrophys. J. Lett. 853, (2018) Art. No. L19.
ALMA was used at 1.3 mm to study the N 113 hot core region of the LMC. One line of methyl formate near 216.97 GHz was detected with reasonable signal-to-noise ratio toward the A1 peak and two more lines around 216.835 GHz look a bit too strong. The derived column density is about a factor of 15 lower than that of methanol.
